Google Gemini AI Service - By Kapil Sharma

Google Gemini AI Service:

Google’s Gemini is their latest artificial intelligence model. It’s a multimodal machine learning model that can understand and operate across different types of information, including text, code, audio, image, and video. The model is expected to be more powerful and flexible than its predecessors.

Gemini is built upon Google’s previous model, PaLM, which is the core technology that Google uses to drive AI capabilities throughout its suite of products. Gemini is expected to have sophisticated multimodal capabilities, master human-style conversations, language, and content, understand and interpret images, code prolifically and effectively, drive data and analytics, and be used by developers to create new AI apps and APIs.

The project is led by Google teams Brain Team and DeepMind. Gemini is currently still in training mode and is expected to be a key rival to OpenAI’s GPT once launched. According to Google, the incoming Gemini AI was built to be multimodal, with a focus on tool and API integrations. This will allow for wider collaborative efforts. It’s also being created to accommodate future developments, such as improved memory and planning.

In the near future, Gemini can be expected to exist - or even power - most of Google’s products and services. For now, it’s being "fine-tuned and rigorously tested for safety".

Google Stadia a new independent Gaming Platform same like YouTube for Videos - Kapil Sharma

Google Stadia:-

The next generation independent Gaming Platform from Google for streaming game services.

In this platform games available in resolutions up to 4K and 60 frames per second with HDR and surround sound.

Stadia streaming speed is 10.7 GPU teraflops. And the Stadia will support cross-platform multiplayer.

The Google controller connects to Google’s servers over WiFi for a low-latency, lag-free experience.

The CPU has a custom x86 processor clocked at 2.7GHz, hyperthreaded, and AVX 2. Memory comes in at 16GB in total with up to 484 GB/s transfer speed, and L2+L3 cache of 9.5MB.

And its going to be launch in late 2019 Q4y in few countries including the U.S., Canada, U.K. and much of Europe.

Stadia online game streaming services are going to run on the google data centers across the globe.

So, no specific hardware i.e Gaming Console or Gaming PC required. It only required Google Stadia Access with a high speed internet connection.

Google Stadia is a cloud gaming service that was launched by Google in November 2019. It allows users to play video games on various devices, including laptops, desktops, TVs, and mobile devices, without requiring a console or high-end gaming PC.

Stadia games run on Google's servers and are streamed to the user's device, with the player's inputs being sent back to the server in real-time. This means that games can be played without the need for downloading or installing the game on the device, as everything is processed and rendered in the cloud.

Stadia also offers various features, such as State Share, which allows players to share their game state with others, and Crowd Play, which enables players to join a streamer's game directly from a YouTube video. Additionally, Stadia supports multiplayer and cross-platform play, allowing users to play with friends on different devices.

Stadia offers a subscription service, Stadia Pro, which provides access to a library of games, discounts, and 4K resolution streaming. However, users can also purchase individual games on the platform.

While Stadia has received praise for its convenience and accessibility, it has faced criticism for its limited game library, high pricing of individual games, and inconsistent performance depending on the user's internet connection. Google has also announced that it will be shutting down its in-house game development studios, which has led to concerns about the future of the platform.

Next Decade @Technology Wonder! - Kapil Sharma

As we are reaching the year 2020 in the next one and a half year. What's the most anticipated technologies, we as humans are going to view, consume and explore in the upcoming decade.
Here are some pointers which may be the next game changer in the next decade.
  1. New layer of the financial system or financial stack.
  2. Mass rapid transport system.
  3. Customized health care medicine system.
  4. AR/VR/MX virtual reality systems.
  5. Machine or Humanoid assistants.
  6. Space explorations to the nearby planets.
  7. 5G/6G/7G+ Internet Communication System/ Protocols.
A. New layer of the financial system or financial stack: Digital currency with block-chain lager system in place to track immutable financial transactions/ records. Highly secure and lighting fast system on 5/6/7G+ internet communication systems. With zero error probability. Clean transactions within building tax systems. So, that no tax clues remain on the fly the taxes are compute with the use of cloud computed capacity and on time delivery of records. It's a big game changer for a nation or global audience, to consume this new financial stack or layer and drive huge profits without delays.
B. Mass rapid transport system: This is most sorted requirement of the human growing population throughout the world. Friction-less rail system (Levitation Rail System) or Hyperloop system. (@Elon Musk) Both the system works on the magnetic propulsion mechanism. First one work without vacuum and the last one required vacuum to run most faster than the first one, but the carrying capacity is less than the first one. Both systems require electric energy, so bye-bye diesel or coal. These system have the capacity to change the transport world as the travel time become less that mean more time do new/ other things.
C. Customized health care medicine system: Here comes the new breed of highly customized medical treatment for individuals. As per body and blood type, target based treatment is the new key. Rather than make a generic medicine for all, now custom molecular level disease targets medicine to cure diseases at faster and safer rate.
D. AR/VR/MX virtual reality systems: In multimedia domain, the wearable technology, may go to replace the TV, Theaters, Tablets, Gaming Consoles or maybe your most prized possession the "smart phone". I think these wearable's in the upcoming next decade may cost less than 250$ per piece and this leads to their sales in volumes and consumption rate from 40-60% per annual may increase. This is going to change the reading, viewing and consumption of the entertainment artifacts. Consumers may be these wearable's in learning and experience new things without moving from their current location to new ones. They can join live events a real time.
E. Machine or Humanoid assistants: As many developed countries the average human population age graph is in downwards. And this the place where the machine evolves and start working as a human assistant, or may replace human work force. This may lead to the presence of the humanoid/ robots in the security or hazardous environment landscape areas. Prefixed with experience data-set and integrated with real time data-set, machine in real time compute and consume information data-set and leads to the real time action based on machine actions protocols/ laws. They (robots) may become old age person help assistants or play many roles as per human needs and urgent requirements.
F. Space explorations to the nearby planets: Humans in the next decade may start exploring the nearby planets and stars for human habitations and for energy demands. Helium or other form of energy forms may lead to this sector growth in near future. Space X, Blue Origin, ISRO, NASA and Virgin Galactic are many leading space exploration companies leading this space race. Space tourism is the next big thing in the upcoming decade.
G. 5G/6G/7G+ Internet Communication System/ Protocols: As the next upcoming decade is coming up, so as the era of faster and secure communication also arises. More robust and faster with less cost and delay is the next most awaited communication technology sorted by the consumers throughout the globe. GB's plus data bits/byes transfer rate make or break company/ country success plan in most of active sectors. Easy to use, easy to build with less cost and inoperable entities are key success factors for new the information exchange domain.
These are some major technologies which may fuel the global business, research engine and social engine in the upcoming decade.
Till then keep learning, sharing and be open to embrace the new sizzling global change. :)

Software design pointers..........> - Kapil Sharma

• Before design and development any task, first ask these 5 things: Why, What, Whom, Where, When: (W-5 approach)

• A use case of design and develop of one complex service window for government departments, where all state departments services available online through CSC's (Common Services Centers) or mobile app or single website.

• Generally state IT projects are developed on ‘’Big-Bang’’ design approach.

• Where all entities are build on one-go and got live as a singular unit.

• Pros. of this approach is one big working system, multiple features, different services offering and catering large complex diversify population.

• Cons. with this system is failure in building complex system in one single go as multiple stakeholders are not compatible in one single linear system design approach, checks and balances are difficult to implement in one go, no functional SOP availability for multiple departments for getting in and out of system implementations.

• For complex IT system where multiple stakeholders present, the agile block approach recommended.

• One small feature or module developed and implemented in one go of development cycle of 2 to 3-week period. A small team of 3-9 people (developers, QA, DBA, PM) worked with stakeholder SOP and design and develop system and implement in max three-week time frame. Anything goes wrong in design or development can be redone or validated in 3-weeks times. If design redone required only 3 weeks’ time effected not as a whole project time frame got the hard hit. This small chunk approach saves time, money leads to less stress and provide more time for creative and effective design and development ideas.

• For State IT projects, I think rather focusing on full big project we can break it into small modules and than start design and development in small chunks.

• There are two best suited approaches.

• One is district wise development approach, where services are developed for one selected district and that district divided into two parts urban and rural. First focus on urban part, create effective online services only for urban area. After successful implementation do the data analysis and figure out analytics for service in high demand and other services demand than try to implement the clone of urban services into rural area, again redone the analysis and analytics cycle.

• This same two area approach can be implemented in different districts and after 5+ districts data analytics, services can be optimized and more effective and more predictive services can be design and developed for future.

• The second design approach covers the complete state, but with one department at one time with all services in one go or incremental way.

• After completing one department, then moves towards the next one. All departments first sorted out in the priority list for higher importance departments w.r.t public services offering.

Uhuru Application cloud service: Pre-Beta Testing. - Kapil Sharma

UhuruAppCloud Service: (Exploration Testing)

It's a new cloud based application hosting service.

Nice and fast UI, I can say that, I tried my self.  May be my net speed is high :P

It's not a Beta or release service, they are just testing, so errors may observe to users.

I came cross-one related to server. Looking to get error logs to find out what happens...... that's the fun part of testing :)

Every time something new to learn and explore :)

Going to report more to nice uhuru team to find the culprit. Let start digging more guys this is really a great chance of exploration testing, try in your weekdays or weekend if you want to learn with fun :)
